ZONE 22 WILL BE UP FRONT AT THE LA CONVENTION Come and be part of celebrating a great contribution to Rotary International leadership by our own RI President Wilf Wilkinson and TRF Chair, Bob Scott. We are hoping to provide a sea of RED at the Convention. Several Canadians are featured, including Stephen Lewis , Premier Dalton McGuinty, The Canadian Brass , Canadian Opera Star Measha Brueggerosman and the Langley Ukulele Ensemble. Other performers will be the famous American Boys Choir, Natalie Cole, the Pasadena Symphony Orchestra and many many more. HOUSE OF FRIENDSHIP, THE SOCIAL HUB At the House of Friendship you can meet with Rotarians from all parts of the Rotary world; you will see displays of exciting projects, meet members of the many Rotary Fellowships and Rotary Action Groups.You can also explore educational and humanitarian projects for your club and District as you visit the "RI Projects Exchange" area. Here you can meet, face to face with Rotarians worldwide who are looking for partners in their effort to alleviate famine, improve living conditions, educate children and adults and improve the health of their people. NORTHERN LIGHTS BRUNCH The 2008 Zone 22 Northern Lights Brunch, is being held at the RI Convention in Los Angeles, LA Convention Centre, Peetree Hall, Sunday, June 15, 2008 - 10 am to 12 noon. Keep them connected to Rotary by participating in this first Rotary Alumni Celebration. Attendees will hear prominent speakers, participate in stimulating workshops, and enjoy networking opportunities — all for just US$25 for convention registrants. A reception will be held in their honour. Districts are encouraged to send at least one former scholar and one former Group Study Exchange team member to this event.
