Acker, Executive Director of Pathways to Education who will

The
Robbie Burns Celebration
The
lunch began with the ceremonial piper, Sandy Dewar, piping members
to the head table and the haggis to its place of honour.
Doug
Robertson addressed the haggis before inviting members
to share its bounty. Following lunch, renowned Burns scholar Ralph
Turner gave an eloquent address to the Bard by outlining key events
in his life, together with a dramatic reading of his immortal poetry.
Doug
Clarke accompanied Ralph as he led members in a medley of Scottish
tunes. John Macintosh, like many members suitably
dressed in Scottish attire, gave a Burns grace before lunch.
