Camp Merrywood

Objective: Provide volunteer and financial support to one of two Easter Seals owned and operated residential camps, which offers a world-class recreation experience for children and youth who have a physical disability. Provide an annual 'sweat equity' initiative for Belleville Rotarians which in addition, serves as a weekend opportunity for fellowship. Event Date: This annual event takes place on the first weekend in May every year, always falling the weekend preceding Mothers Day weekend. Tradition has become a round of golf for those interested on Thursday afternoon, followed by dinner at the Camp. Friday and Saturday have become the work days with Sunday left open in the event weather is unfavourable.
