In the last year, the pandemic has impacted so many parts of our lives: disrupting daily activities, limiting time with loved ones, changing how we socialize with friends, and adjustments to our work schedules. These challenges for adults have been acutely felt by children, from toddlers to teens. Stress factors for children have increased in so many areas of their lives: social isolation, break down of routines, learning interruptions, and challenges due to family illness or economics have been integral to recent childhood experience.

BELRAG invites teachers, parents, Rotarians -anyone with a young person in their life to this interactive and engaging webinar to explore how we can pro-actively support children and build their resilience. Emily Santiago, Founder/Director of the Center for Cognitive Diversity will guide us to better understand the toll on children from being isolated from peers and out of school during the pandemic - and how Rotarians can take action to support their own family, young people in their communities, and educators welcoming students to their classrooms.
