In his June 2023 Newsletter, District Governor Iosif Ciosa talks about fellowship in Rotary and Rotary Fellowships in particular. He thanked Rotarians for being at the Charter Night of the Toronto Tibetan Rotary Club and encourages us to come to the June 23 Awards & District GivernorChangeover Night at the Whitby Marina ......

Dear fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Earlyactors, June is here !!.

Rotary Fellowships is Rotary International’s focus for the month of June.

Fellowship has been one of the reasons Paul Harris created Rotary over 118 years ago.  Rotarians have joined Rotary to make a difference in the community, working together on projects, fund raisers, club meetings, social events; fellowship burgeoned, and became one of the reasons we stay.

Fellowship is a part of Rotary Club life, this year as COVID seems to be behind us, clubs have returned to many activities that they had missed. Taking part in the watershed cleanup, Foundation Walk, multi-club pub evenings, BBQs, wine and cheese evenings, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, PRIDE Parade, walks, bike rides…..

Being June, I would remiss if I did not encourage you to look and join one or more world-wide Rotary Fellowships on the Rotary.org website. Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a Rotary Fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience.

Thank you for all the love and support you have showed earlier in May at the Toronto Tibetan Charter Evening, approximately 180 Rotarians from many clubs, and friends came out to welcome the newest club in our District.

On the 23rd of June, Come on Out to celebrate the Awards and Changeover at the Whitby Marina! (details to follow)

Yours in Rotary,

Iosif
