In her December 2025 Newsletter, District 7070 Governor Niecy Dillon Tyrovolas talks about her many official visits to our clubs in November and says that we are truly United For Good. Starting in January , she will do a new round of visits to our clubs with a “fireside chat” twist. she wants a chance to sit down with members in a more relaxed setting and hear directly from you — what can the District do for you and for your club? She will be reaching out to Club Presidents soon to schedule these conversations. She reminds us that December is also Disease Prevention and Treatment Month in Rotary — a great reminder that even a small donation to End Polio Now can make a big difference . Niecy wishes everyone in District 7070 – members, your families, your friends – a very Happy Holiday – have all the peace, love, and laughter this holiday season .. Please Read more. .........
Greetings Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Earlyactors, !!.
As we wrap up 2025 and step into the holiday season, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve completed my official District Club Visit Tour — with just a few “special visits” still to come. What an incredible journey it’s been! The people, the projects, the energy, the ideas… I am so proud of everyone in District 7070. You are truly are Uniting for Good!
BUT YOU ARE NOT GETTING RID OF ME…Starting in January, I’m planning a new round of visits — this time with a “fireside chat” twist. I’d love the chance to sit down with members in a more relaxed setting and hear directly from you — what can the District do for you and for your club? I’ll be reaching out to Club Presidents soon to schedule these conversations.
In November, I had the honour of visiting so many wonderful clubs: Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Toronto Eglinton, Ajax, Stirling, Agincourt, Toronto Forest Hill, Willowdale, Oshawa, and Oshawa Parkwood. Everywhere I went, I saw passion, creativity, and commitment in action. I also had the privilege of attending some incredible events — Kids Against Hunger, the Oshawa Walk of Fame, Dance for the Dominican, the District Grant Seminar, and our Learning Tuesday session on “Service Above Scam.” I just love seeing all of you doing what you do best — serving, smiling, and Walking Together.

As we move into December, my favourite time of year, let’s remember that while it’s a season for celebration, it’s also a time to check in on family, friends, and fellow members. Reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while. A quick call or message can mean the world to someone who may need a little extra love right now.
December is also Disease Prevention and Treatment Month in Rotary — a great reminder that even a small donation to End Polio Now can make a big difference. Together, we are changing lives around the world.
A very big Thank you - to all of you for everything that you are doing in District 7070! This District continues to change the world in all different ways and I am so proud.
I want to wish everyone in District 7070 – members, your families, your friends – a very Happy Holiday – have all the peace, love, and laughter this holiday season — and I can’t wait to see you in 2026! Rotary International thought we were incredible in 2025…look out!
In Rotary,

Niecy Dillon-Tyrovolas
