We are proud to highlight Sarah, a Rotaractor and RYLS (Our District 7070 Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium) graduate whose compassion and commitment to service reflect Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self. Sarah first learned about the Sew Girls Can Go to School initiative through RYLS and was inspired to take action. With the help of volunteers, she sews reusable menstrual pads to support girls and young women in the Dominican Republic, helping promote dignity, health, and access to education. To make her fundraiser even more meaningful, Sarah is also running 1 km for every $1 raised, with a goal of reaching $1,000.
