It is with great sadness when we loose members of our District 7070 Rotary family this month. Everyone in District 7070 wants to expresses their deepest sympathies to our extended Rotary family.

 

DAVE JAGGER - ROTARY CLUB OF BRIGHTON

From the Rotary club of Brighton: "We have some sad news to share. First, on February 23 we lost a past president of Brighton Rotary, Dave Jagger. Our condolences go to his wife Sue and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone throughout this difficult time." 

Peacefully at Belleville General Hospital, at the age of 89, after a brief illness. Survived by Sue, loving Wife for 68 years. Loving Father of Judith (Stefan) of Carterton, New Zealand, the late Katherine (Bill), and Barbara. Adored Papa to Katie, Joseph, Kallie (Matthew), Maggie, and Fraser (Hayley), and Great-grandfather to Moira and William. Will be missed by Nieces Martha, Beth, and Megan. Pre-deceased by Sister-in-law Sally and Nephew Stewart. Fondly remembered by many close friends and extended family, including grand-dog Stanley. Dave was known for often taking the road less-travelled, and recalling from memory every route years later. A long-time resident of Leaside and later Brighton, most recently of Batawa, Ontario. If you wish, raise a glass and toast Dave at cocktail hour.
