FOR DISTRICT 7070 ROTARY, ROTARACT, INTERACT, EARLYACT CLUBS

It’s easy as 1, 2, 3! Earn one ballot for each step completed. The winner will receive $500 towards the community service project of your club’s choice (local or international).

WHY USE INSTAGRAM?

Instagram is considered to be one of the best social media platforms to connect with your followers. It’s visual, simple, and it’s attracting the younger generation more than other social media platforms. Create a social media profile that highlights your club’s mission and goals, show your service projects, target potential new members, and so much more. Instagram is a powerful tool that your club should be using!

GET STARTED

If you haven’t already, set up your club’s Instagram account by downloading the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android). When setting up your account, be sure to include a club bio. It will be the first thing your prospective followers will see and it will be visible every time your profile is visited.

EARN ONE BALLOT FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS

  1. Create a post relevant to your club and include some hashtags.
One of the best ways to get discovered by new audiences on Instagram is by using pertinent, targeted hashtags on your posts and stories. Whether your club is looking to increase membership, launch a new service project, or promote a fundraiser, hashtags are the way to get your club noticed. Some examples might be: #rotaryinternational #endpolio #peopleofaction

  2. Share a post from our District 7070 or Rotary International Instagram accounts.
Similar to sharing a post on Facebook, you can also “repost” user-generated content on Instagram with an app such as “Repost”. Perhaps you just saw a fantastic post on the Rotary International Instagram page — just use a reposting app to share it with your followers.

  3. Post a Story on your page and save it as a Highlight.
Instagram Story Highlights are a great tool to showcase and promote your club. Express your club identity in your stories then group them into highlights that will be featured on your club’s profile.
