Dear District Governors, District Public Image Chairs in Zone 32, and everyone interested in Rotary Public Image,
Here is the monthly Public Image update for April and May 2025l.
- We often address questions about proper logo usage. The Brand Center has several pages about logos and graphics. For example, did you know that you should not use the yellow wheel (mark of excellence) by itself, and you should not use a lockup treatment for a committee name or with descriptive text or other logos that aren’t related to a partner, sponsor, event, or time-bound program? Learn more on the Do's and don'ts page.

- Many clubs and districts continue to have their Facebook pages locked or taken down by Meta. As a reminder from Rotary International:"As many of you may already know, in recent years, Meta has suspended a number of Rotary-related Facebook and Instagram pages for violating community guidelines. To assist page admins, we have created a form that allows us to efficiently check your page’s status within Meta's Brand Rights Protection tool, something we have very recently gained access to. This form will also provide us with the needed information to best assist you. Please note that we will only contact you directly if your page has been unpublished. If you emailed us already, there is no reason to fill out this form as your pages have been addressed."We know how important these social media pages are to our Rotary communities worldwide and how frustrating this ongoing issue is. Thank you for your patience as we work through this together! PAGE ADMINS ONLY: Please fill out the form at https://on.rotary.org/
fbissue" - It's World Immunization Week! Find social media graphics and other resources for World Immunization Week and End Polio Now in the Brand Center. For PolioPlus Society materials and other resources, visit the End Polio Resource Center.
- As we prepare for the new Rotary year, you can find District Leadership courses and Club Leadership courses in the Learning Center. Login using your rotary.org credentials.
- Have a story to share on our Zones 28 & 32 website or Facebook page? Reach out to any of us for follow up!
Question of the month:
Q: Should our district or club invest in Google ads?
A: If you want to invest in digital promotion, we recommend boosting your Facebook page instead of paying for Google ads. We believe that boosted Facebook pages are more effective. Make sure your Facebook page (and website) is up to date and freshened periodically! That increases search rankings as well.
Yours in Rotary,
Laura Spear
