Welcome to the Special Edition Year-End Celebration Edition of the 2023-24 District 7070 Newsletter.
The 2023-24 Awards Presentations and the District Governor Changeover Ceremony were held on June 20, 2024, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Whitby.. Over 80 Rotarians and Rotaractors, and lots of friends of Rotary from all over the District attended the event. Here are just some of the highlights....
In this Newsletter, we are going to feature the Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Awards Presentations , the District Governor Changeover, a year-end message from Past District Governor John Burns and add some photos of John during his year as District Governor, and closing remarks by our new District Governor Virginia O'Reilly.
Editor's Note: Congratulations to Past District Governor John for an outstanding year as District Governor. He has encouraged and challenged us to "Create Hope In The World" in our clubs and in our communities, locally and globally. A job well done. Congratulations to our 2024-25 District Governor Virginia O'Reilly, who will encourage all of us to tell the world about "The Magic of Rotary" as we venture out and Do Good In The World.
