It is not too early to plan your club and district events for World Polio Day, October 24, 2021. Here are some suggestions.....
1. Download resources from End Polio website https://www.endpolio.org/resource-center#see-more
2. Ask your city or town to declare Oct 24 End Polio Day
3. Plan a community polio fundraising event
4. Book a polio speaker at your club
5. Display an End Polio banner or flag at city hall or other prominent locations
6. Post World Polio Day graphics on community social media sites
7. Have a community walk to end polio
8. Join us on October 21 for the live broadcast of World Polio Day 2021 LIVE from the Rotary Global Classroom at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada featuring : RI president Shekhar Mehta, Vice President Valarie Wafer, Incoming RI President Jennifer Jones, Rotary International Polio Plus Chair Mike McGovern, and Dr Tunji Funsho, Nigeria's Pilio Plus Chair as they all talk with our very own Dr Bob Scott past Chair Rotary International Polio Plus).
